High Quality Content creation and marketing is the best way to build any business or brand. Content is powerful and the fact is you are already a content creator whether you acknowledge it or not.

If you are on any social media platform and you are posting or publishing anything then you have to understand that you are creating content.

Are you using this strategy to attract people to you or your business?

I always hear people talking about creating consistent content these days. It has become a marching drum for most creators for the past three to five years. But here, I want to get a little more specific and dive into the granular detail of what it might look like to you.

Many of the times people ask me, “How should I present myself online in the very beginning?” It’s a time when people are most likely to not keep up with their content creation and putting stuff out there on a constant basis.

In my opinion, your actual profile i.e., your mini description or whatever you put on the social platform can change and evolve over time.

Although, you should keep it simple and focus on the content, as you must know that it’s better to put out consistently good content than everyday mediocre content or “once in a blue moon fantastic” content.

Seeing content writers working with various companies and also with my own experience I’ve seen that people are pushing creators to make and release contents every day.

And they fail to realize that in this process their audience might lose interest in their content as it won’t be very engaging. So, here, the idea is to create consistent good quality content, for example once in a week.

There are lots of people out there that are trying to create content and release them every single day. And yes, you should be creating every day but the most part you shouldn’t be releasing everything that you are creating.

You should be putting way more thought and way more intention into the post you are making. Because what you are putting out there is being compared and stacked against other creators. The game here is what you can do to stand out and make a difference.

Let’s take the example of my own content. Let’s say I release a post of about more than 1500 words on my website.

While opening the post and knowing how long it is, says a lot about both the creator and the reader, which is the reader has acknowledged that the creator has put a lot of time and energy into this blog.

I follow a lot of digital marketing and entrepreneurial bloggers because I love to see their content. And most of their post ends with a request for liking and commenting on their recent posts which may be absurd for some but it’s actually not a bad thing.

Originally, when Facebook was new and was only about you and 20 of your friends, you wanted to see everything that they were posting. Now, you have above 3000 friends and definitely, you cannot see all of their stories.

So, the Facebook algorithm tracks your behavior. Let’s say if you like your friend’s posts then you will keep seeing their posts on your feed. And same here goes with your content; you will be seen by the people who get engaged with your work.

That’s why it is so important to create content that is worth engaging with, that asks a question and creates a conversation.

Now, you might be asking how you come up with ideas for the content you create. I have seen a lot of people get lost in the beginning and for me, that had never been an issue because I always think that there are unlimited numbers of ideas for the pieces of content you can create online.

You must look and find what people are searching for online. “Google” is an incredible resource that can tell you a lot of information about what people are looking.

When people search anything, they always type “keywords” which is exact words or phrases that they are putting in the search engine to get their desired results. And there are many ways through which you could determine which keywords are most popular and the total search volume for those keyword phrases.

For example: Google has a free tool called a “Google Keyword Planner”. It’s a feature that is available for Google Adwords that help advertisers target different keywords.

If you put in a keyword phrase, it will provide you suggestions for keywords that people are already searching for as well as the total number of searches that approximately people are searching for in every single month for that keyword.

Therefore, when you create your content you must utilize search engine optimization so that you can optimize that content for that keyword and people can find it when they search for it.

This step is very crucial if you are first starting out because that’s the only way that people are going to primarily find you.

Once you’ve got an audience you don’t have to be diligent about optimizing your content for keywords because you will already have an audience of people that will consume your content the moment you release it.

When it comes to creating content, it really depends on the type of content and the market you are in and the audience that you are engaged with.

My advice will be to personalize your content in some way because what I think is more powerful than the content itself is the person behind it and the connection that people have with that person.
